Iowa and Utah Class

This is the class that is needed to get your Iowa or Utah Permit to Carry or also called Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW). This class is taught by an active Police Officer that has first hand experience dealing with the weapons laws and use of force situations and I will share some of these stories. This class will give you a better understanding of Iowa law and using a firearm for self defense.

Nick will discuss:

• How to get your permit

• Firearms Safety

• Use of Force

• Where you can’t carry

• Other legal aspects

• Concealed carry considerations

• Law Enforcement interactions when carrying

• Any question that you have

This class will last approximately 3 hours, with a break every hour. This class will consist of hands-on exercises, one of them was taught to me at the police academy and is a real eye opener for a lot of people!

The Iowa portion of the the class will be taught in the first 3 hours. If you would like the Utah training you will need to stay an additional hour.

You will need to bring photo ID with you.

***There is no shooting in this class, Please do not bring any firearms or ammunition with you***
